A whole week in Costa Rica with Corbin and the girls. Took us a few days to truly relax and get our bearings. Loved getting to eat nearly every meal together

And then Basden kissed the bottom of the ocean (or slammed into the bottom of the ocean) while boogyboarding – CR waves are no joke

our fav poolside meal – caramelized onions and avacado pizza
Corbin’s creativity and planning to make this week happen ~ Westin Conchal was a fantastic spot to land
Meanwhile back in Shreveport…

This ~ just so good

Vivint is really fun on a good week, super challenging on a slow week. Even so:

“Bran, I have no doubt that this is where you need to be this summer.”    “Mom, I completely agree.”

The power of music

“A task begun is a task half done” ~ Jan Karon (Likely originally “Well begun is half done” – Aristotle). I like Karon’s version better. Real encouragement to someone who often doesn’t get past the thinking / planning phase.
