Hud packing up his entire dorm by himself and making the 11-hour drive home… first year at Auburn more than we could have asked or imagined for him
So sad to see his empty dorm!

Corbin being in Waco tonight too for a conference ~ crazy. No small thing leaving both girls home to fend for themselves, getting to and from school and all of their things, such a gift to trust them to be responsible and safe

Bran made it to Shreveport in the driving rain, made a Walmart run to set up his empty apartment, called and facetimed us several times… texted that he thought this might be a lonely summer but a good one. He may be right, but then late last night he texted a pic with five guys. Seems to be doing just fine

Rainy few days, sitting by fire this morning

Bran’s first day down. Before I even told him about Suzanne’s texts, he said he helped a mom make tacos with her toddler and infant while his Vivant buddy showed the dad where cameras should go, and then later met a super frazzled woman and offered to pray with her. Said the lady started crying, told him no one had ever done that before. No sales today but some different opportunities – thrills me that he sounded upbeat

Thank you Lord that you’ve giving me a vision that Vivant will be purposeful
Joy’s early mornings for AP Bio review, how responsible she is
Late afternoon coffee with KDS yesterday, could have stayed til closing
Walking in the rain with the pups

SCS state playoff game today in Waco, getting to go with my girls – and fun surprise seeing Livelys!

Essie did not make Sophomore class pres, but felt supported by some of her friends. Did NOT feel supported by some of the older boys ~ they know who they are ~ but again, thankful for all things. Especially Cindy and her scissors.

Bran’s light voice and upbeat attitude now that he’s getting acclimated to Shreveport and Vivant. Today is day three, he shadows one more day and then gets his own iPad tomorrow to start selling.
Bran got a sale yesterday – first day solo!! He’s so encouraged
