Praise the Lord, O my soul; all my inmost being praise his holy name.
Praise the Lord O my soul and forget not all his benefits –
who forgives your sins, and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion,
who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

– Spontaneous drive around our neighborhood to look at Christmas lights (and Basden jumping in the front seat – one of my highlights all month – seeing her spunk)
– Thank you for Trey and the fabulous big brother he is. I love him dearly, wish our live were more intertwined but just thankful to have him and his family close in heart
– Christmas lunch at Neiman\’s with girls and mom – a gift to have margin for these kinds of things without feeling crunched under a too-full calendar
– All of Christmas shopping done and wrapped before leaving town. It\’s a push to finish early, but SO NICE to have it done and simply enjoy Christmas week
– Aunt Dianna and her lovely life. She impacted my life on a foundational level, anchored my faith as a child to see her jubilant love for you. All points to you, Lord.

with my mouth I will make your faithfulness known through all generations.
I will declare that your love stands firm forever,
that you established your faithfulness in heaven itself.
– Essie\’s Spanish project
– My morning spot, taking in the snow-covered mountains view
– Papa\’s breakfasts
– Lunch in Santa Fe with Cam and Alan making some home remodel choices, a FREEZING lunch (literally) on a Mexican restaurant patio because they can’t seat anyone inside. Insane. 27 degrees, 14 with wind chill. But we laughed a lot.
– Family facetime w/O’Modhrains. SO good to “see” them and laugh at Connor. Brings such joy that they are a family of five.
