A few more goodies from my summer reflection…

  • “If we let the world to tell us who to be, what to say, what position to take – we’ll always be confused. Trying to please everyone and cater to conflicting opinions will make your head spin. Begging people to stay or changing who you are so they won’t leave will leave you sad and confused. But if you aim to please God, and let Him be the loudest voice in your head, you’ll find peace and clarity. The people who stay will be your people, the ones who enrich your journey and help you become your best🤍.” – Kari Kampakis
  • “Compared to greater endeavors, self love is mundane and tiresome. Consequently, the more thoroughly I can be done with such tedium, the freer my soul will be to soar at it’s God-intended heights.” – Gospel Primer
  • He must increase, but I must decrease. John 3:30
  • For am I seeking the approval of men or of God? Am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a bond-servant of God. Gal 10:10

Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always. Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles… 1 Chron 16:11
