Getting to hit the lake TWICE this past week

– Lake with Cappy and Daboo, they\’d already been out there for a couple of days working. Felt so good to help them with some painting and just change locations for a day

– Watching church on Sunday mornings together, while I miss our community, it sure makes the Sabbath restful. Especially love watching on the back porch in this gorgeous spring weather

– GORGEOUS Spring mornings and evenings

– Corona-friendly park dinner with the 4 grandparents – they have plenty of fun without us

– Mom in her happy place (pic taken by dad)

– This flag flying over the Sanders\’ home!!

– Basden feeling (mostly) at peace about moving schools, that she\’s expressed gratitude for the opportunity to attend SCS

– Hud deciding to come downstairs before 4pm, and now making gargantuan breakfasts. Makes all of our days better to see him more

He matches the # of eggs with the # of bacon. This was a 6-slice morning
Only up to five this day

– Essie\’s hands. Nothing more mesmerizing than God\’s craftwork (butterfly and those lovely hands)

– People are still funny

– Keeping Corbin around for his morning meals

– Long walk with Lori, so good to catch up

– Essie happy to wash Cross for us, didn\’t realize she was jumping into the shearing as well

oops

– Not often that I find my kids reading their Bibles, fun to walk in on this

– They flew somewhere for dinner?? They\’re not great about keeping us updated these days!

– Deciding that our BU girls\’ Reunion 2020 is ON- so so excited to see these friends in just a few days!!

– Back to the Lake with the Sanders, so good to be with them AND to get away for 24 hours – great idea Krista!

pretty peaceful
That time we forgot the pulled pork, so Hud and Brighton drove nearly two hours round trip for MEAT

turns out corned beff works just fine on Hawaiian rolls

benadryl, allergies
Jeff jumping on the mower, Daboo says he\’s welcome anytime

– \”Today the true love of my heart is revealed by what I am grieving and celebrating.\” – P Tripp

– Baseball season like no other

– At this point some camps are still open this summer – praying and hoping for Kanakuk and Sky Ranch Colorado especially… so hopeful! Right now no news is good news

– NFL announced it will resume this fall (!!!)

– Hud with less than a week of class til he is FINISHED WITH HIGH SCHOOL – and he\’s finishing strong, setting his own goals, proud of that kid

– What God initiates, He will fulfill

– Taylor, Basden\’s Young Life leader, capturing and painting this – Taylor is just amazing on many levels
